Blizzard of 2011 (Feb. 1)

Anytime the girls get a chance to dress up or act out, they take it!  They had 2 friends home from school with them, Chloe H and Chloe C, and decided they should become a rock band and put on performances!  They even designed their own sign!

Upward

Once again this year, Noah played Upward Basketball at our church with Matt as one of his coach's, and the girls cheered while I was their coach.  Everyone enjoyed it as much as the previous year...it seems to be becoming a family favorite event!

Thursday

Harlem Globetrotters

Rarely do the guys in our family ever get a night out together, for many reasons.  It's not something their accustomed to doing, it's hard to find a time when they can all get together, and then actually agreeing on something they will all enjoy.  January is my dad's birthday, and my mom decided to get him Harlom Globetrotter tickets for all the guys to enjoy when they came to South Bend.  Noah and Dillan had a blast together, which they do regardless of where they are, and the men had a good evening as well!

Tuesday

TKD Final Testing

The kids finished out their TaeKwonDo season as Camo Belts.  (They loved their instructors, Mr. Birky and Ms. Newberry)

It was a great program they all enjoyed, it's just too bad we would have had to commit to a 3 year program to continue.  If this was their only activity they were involved in, it may have been easier!

Snow Much Fun

Fort making, snowball fights, and rolling in the snow...what a great way to spend a snow covered day!

Shoveling, not as much fun, but something that needs to be done!

NYE

Normally we spend our New Year's Eve at home with the kids.  I usually make some favorite foods, we watch a movie or two, then we all fall asleep before the ball is even close to dropping!

This year we decided to celebrate New Year's Eve with some friends, Rob and Mindy Galbreath.  We started the evening by going out to supper, and then ended up back at their house for games and snacks.  I even got a little festive when making my desserts!

It was a great way to usher in the new year, and the kids had a blast staying at Grandma and Grandpa Weatherton's!

Christmas Day

Memories that will last a lifetime!

Christmas Morning...

Now that Noah is older, we love listening to him read the birth of Jesus on Christmas morning from the Bible.  He has taken the reading over from his Dad, but Matt doesn't mind - what a delight to be able to pass this on to your child!

Twas the Night Before Christmas...

We continued with the tradition of allowing the kids to open one present on Christmas Eve, their Christmas Pajamas!

Christmas Eve at "The Brown's"...

Family...you may only see them a few times a year, but when you get together, there is nothing better!

Some you know inside and out, and some you just know that you are family, and that is enough.
