Ever since coming home a year ago from the Air Zoo, the kids have been asking when we could go back. Spring Break seemed to be a great time to get away for a few days. The kids had a blast...except for Noah getting Vertigo from some of the spinning rides he went on! Within a week of being home from the trip, he would complain at night that his bed was spinning. After a quick trip to the Dr.'s, we had our diagnosis!
Tuesday
Easter
After church and a delicious noontime meal, it was finally time for the big "Easter Egg Hunt"! The men hid 224 eggs around the outside property, and each child was able to get 32 eggs!
And an afternoon of kite flying fun...
Easter Egg Preparation...
We were just getting ready to color eggs for Easter, when the phone rang...the Weatherton kids were next door (at my parents) and wanted to come visit their cousins! Anna, Ella, and Eliza did not remember coloring eggs before, so they joined us in our festivities. (Noah colored one egg before going next door to watch TV with Dillan.)
Pony Rides...
The Weatherton kids got a new pony, and Uncle Cory took them all for a "ride", if you call walking around inside the barn a ride (it was raining)! The girls enjoyed it and a great time, they even got to ride it together, at the same time. Noah and Dillan decided they wanted to ride it, and got on together also. The pony did not like that arrangement, and started "bucking" it's back legs to get the boys off...which, of course, the boys thought was fun!
Final Quiz of the season...
Once agian the boys ended their season with more than one trophy! They all did a great job learning God's word throughout the 6 months, we are all so proud of them. Noah, Corbin, and Ethan have been quizzing together on the same team for 3 years now...Drew was new to the team this season, but was a nice addition to the other boys. We wait with anticipation until next October...the boys will be moving up to "A Flight", which is more difficult, and it should be an interesting year!
