Sledding fun...

Santa

The past few years Matt has played Santa at a Boys and Girls club during their Christmas party.  The kids always find this a good time to get their picture taken with Santa!

Some of my Knitting Projects...

The Present is the Future

The children's Christmas program at church this year was called, "The Present is the Future".  Every night, leading up to the production, the kids would go to bed listening to the soundtrack.  By the time the big night arrived, everyone new the lyrics by heart...they were ready for their big performance!

Santa's Rockin Christmas Eve

Noah's 4th grade class put on a Christmas musical entitled "Santa's Rockin Christmas Eve".  Many of the song lyrics were very "catchy", and by the time the program was over, most of us were able to hum or song along on the ride home!

Tae Kwon Do

Faith is the only one of our 3 kids who were given the chance to break a board at Tae Kwon Do.  Board breaking is not something that was included in our 6 month program that we had signed up for.  The night of this particular testing, I had stayed home with Hope, who was sick, so Faith was so proud to share about her experience when she got home!

Haircut Time

The girls both decided that they wanted to get their hair cut short, so we scheduled appointments back to back after school one day.  Gone are the long pony tails and pig tails, but here are the easy washings and combings!

Quizzing

This year all 3 kids participated in quizzing.  Hope and Faith were on my team along with their friend, Brennin Knight.  Noah had his same quiz team and coach as in previous years, although he had moved up to A-Flight.  It was a long 6 month season, but overall, we all enjoyed it!
